We have just learned from the construction contractors that the library will be completely closed to the public beginning on Monday, May 12, which unfortunately is the first day of finals week. This was an unforeseen development and we realize that it is going to be very disruptive. We will be open our usual hours until then (8:00-11:50 Thursday & Friday, 9:00-4:50 Saturday, and 1:00-11:50 Sunday). Books can be returned and theses can be dropped off in The Reading Room (former Harlan Gallery) from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - Thursday and 8:00 AM - 3:40 PM Friday. Use the off-street theater entrance to the building.
We've compiled some available study location alternatives for the first several days. We are having coffee & tea set up on Monday & Tuesday evenings in the Sully Lounge.
Don't forget that mild-weather options for study also include: The porches off of the Administration building, the courtyard, and the butterfly garden. The 10-Day temperatures are looking favorable.

Cookies, play dough, Bree the Beagle, and Lisa the Australian Shepherd hope to be back for finals in December 2014. Thanks everyone for bearing with all of the changes in the library this year!
What kind of "college" closes the library during finals week? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
