New & improved!
We launched our new help & tutorials site, reeveshelp, at the end of the spring semester.
Over the summer, we've continued to add content and functionality, and we're excited about the new ways that we're able to bring information literacy and research help to SHU-- anytime, anywhere.

Summer fun
People often ask us, "So what do you do at the library all summer with everybody gone?"
As those lucky enough to be here for summer session know, everyone is NOT gone, though the campus does clear out considerably.
Anyway, the short answer is "Many things."
One of those things is re-filling the beanbag chairs. A year of students napping on them in between classes really squishes the filler beads down, so we plump them back up.
It's a little messy, but that just makes it fun.

Copyright & Fair Use for Academics
The Copyright Clearance Center released this video a while back. It gives a thorough, quick, and fun (!) introduction to what "fair use" actually means on a college campus. (I'd embed it, but the first frame forbids redistribution in a publicly-accessible forum.)
